The Surkh Vel Set
Handcrafted in Jaipur · Est. 1897Surkh Vel Set is a choker; long navette-shaped kundan centrepiece in white kundan with red and green accents and a red centre, on ruby-red bead strands with a fringe of red and green oval beads. It is built the way Jaipur has built kundan for generations, which is slowly and entirely by hand.
Every Riwaayat piece is made in 925 sterling silver and finished with 22K gold plating, then given an anti-tarnish e-coating so the colour holds through a season of wear.
Gemstone Wisdom
Green fluorite is prized for clarity of thought. Traditionally it is the stone kept close during study and long work, said to clear confusion the way water clears silt.
Style Tip: Wear with an anarkali or a velvet lehenga for wedding-season evenings. Right for the reception, the engagement, the functions where you want the full traditional line.
