TheCraft
Eight ancient acts. One hundred years of mastery. From the first kiss of flame to the final anti-tarnish coat — every Neeta Boochra jewel is born through devotion.
From flame
to fine jewellery
Each act a testament to artisans who have perfected their craft across generations
Act I
Melting
Pure 925 sterling silver is heated in a crucible until it surrenders to liquid form. The flame is the beginning — transforming raw metal into possibility. Temperature is everything; our artisans read the silver the way a musician reads a note.
925 Sterling Silver · 961°C melting point
Act II
Handmade
Before a single mould is made, the master artisan shapes silver by hand — coaxing, bending and hammering raw metal into the initial form of each design. This ancient skill, passed down through generations, ensures no two pieces are ever truly identical. The hand is the first and finest tool.
Hand-formed · Master Karigars · Jaipur tradition
Act III
Casting
The molten silver is poured into precision moulds, capturing every curve and detail of the designer's vision. Lost-wax casting preserves even the finest filigree — a technique unchanged for a thousand years.
Lost-wax casting · Precision moulds
Act IV
Filing
Raw castings are refined by hand. Each edge, each surface — worked with files of varying grain until the form is true. This is where the artisan's eye and hand become indistinguishable from the jewel itself.
Hand-refined · Master artisans
Act V
Buff Polish
The jewel meets the polishing wheel. Layer by layer, the surface transforms — from matte to mirror. This is where silver begins to sing, catching light the way it will catch eyes for decades to come.
Multi-stage polishing · Mirror finish
Act VI
Setting
Gemstones are set by hand — each one chosen, positioned, secured with the patience of a surgeon. Prong, bezel, pavé — the setting technique is chosen to let each stone breathe and radiate. This is the act that brings colour to silver.
Hand-set gemstones · Natural stones
Act VII
Rhodium &Plating
Selected pieces receive a rhodium or gold bath — an electroplating process that deepens lustre, adds tarnish resistance, and creates that distinctive bright finish that has become a signature of Neeta Boochra Jewels.
Electroplating · Rhodium & Gold finish
Act VIII
Anti-TarnishE-coat
The final act — an invisible armour. A micro-thin electrophoretic lacquer coating seals the jewel against oxidation, humidity, and time. The piece is now complete: ready to be worn, to be loved, to outlast the moment it was made for.
E-coat technology · Lifetime protection
