Seth Kistoor
Chand Boochra

The Silver King of India

Every legacy has a beginning. Ours was forged in silver.

Revered across India as The Silver King, Seth Kistoor Chand Boochra was not merely a trader of precious metal — he was an architect of an industry. In the late 1890s, with rare foresight and formidable resolve, he established one of India's first in-house silver manufacturing facilities, laying the cornerstone of what would become a multi-generational dynasty.

During the tumultuous years spanning 1928 to 1934, Kistoor Chandji emerged as the largest buyer of silver in India — commanding the pricing dynamics of the silver market and securing all silver transactions across Northern and Eastern India.

"His legacy is not remembered merely in records, but in values — excellence, foresight, courage, and uncompromising integrity."

Kumar Boochra

A Visionary of Industry and Impact

Where tradition met ambition, Shri Lalit Kumar Boochra carried the torch forward.

Building upon his father's formidable foundation, he expanded the family enterprise into new realms of gemstone manufacturing through Indo Gem Exporters — establishing it among India's leading gemstone houses. As founder of Silver Centre and Neeta Boochra Jewellery, he transformed a revered silver legacy into a refined luxury brand.

Under his stewardship, a modest workshop evolved into a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in the heart of Jaipur. Yet his greatest contribution lay not in infrastructure, but in humanity — uplifting artisans and ensuring dignity for the craftsmen whose hands give life to precious metal.
