Handcrafted in Jaipur · Est. 1897Samudra — the ocean. Turquoise on oxidised silver has a quality unlike any other combination in the Kundan vocabulary: the dark ground makes the turquoise appear deeper, more marine, more ancient. It is the colour of the sea at depth, not at the surface.
The Samudra is crafted in 925 sterling silver with an oxidised finish. A small gold florette crowns each earring; below, a silver fan chandbali holds an arc of turquoise Kundan Polki across its lower half, with White Kundan Polki accents through the upper register. Pearl ghungroos ring the outer edge of the fan in a dense cascade. The oxidised silver deepens the turquoise rather than warming it. Anti-tarnish e-coated.
