The Lajward Mala
Handcrafted in Jaipur · Est. 1897A blue barrel of lapis strung between pearls and clear crystal. The Lajward Mala earring is the longest piece in this edit, built like a strand of a necklace hung from the ear.
A faceted crystal at the hook, a cluster of small pearls, then a barrel-cut lapis lazuli bead, and below it three flat crystal ovals swinging among more pearls. Hook wire. 925 sterling silver, silver finish. Anti-tarnish e-coated.
Gemstone Wisdom. Lapis Lazuli has been ground for pigment and set in ornament since the first cities of the Indus. It is the stone of clear speech and inward sight — worn for the composure that comes from knowing your own mind.
Style Tip: Wear with white or ivory, hair off the shoulders. At seven and a half centimetres these want room to hang.
