The Laal Bagh Latkan
Handcrafted in Jaipur · Est. 1897Laal Bagh Latkan is a elongated leaf-shaped stud; ruby-pink kundan petals around a large round white kundan centre with round green kundan accents, fringe of seed pearls and a single green onyx oval drop. It is a Jaipur workshop piece in the plainest sense — cut, set and closed by hand, one stone at a time.
Every Riwaayat piece is made in 925 sterling silver and finished with 22K gold plating, then given an anti-tarnish e-coating so the colour holds through a season of wear.
Gemstone Wisdom
Green fluorite is prized for clarity of thought. Traditionally it is the stone kept close during study and long work, said to clear confusion the way water clears silt.
Style Tip: These belong with wedding-season dressing — a tissue saree, a velvet lehenga, a heavy anarkali. Save them for the reception rather than the mehendi.
