The Harit Bel Latkan
Handcrafted in Jaipur · Est. 1897Harit Bel Latkan is a round flower-head stud; pink kundan petals in a white kundan surround with a green centre, fringe of green onyx oval beads, seed pearls and gold beads. It is a Jaipur workshop piece in the plainest sense — cut, set and closed by hand, one stone at a time.
Every Riwaayat piece is made in 925 sterling silver and finished with 22K gold plating, then given an anti-tarnish e-coating so the colour holds through a season of wear.
Gemstone Wisdom
Green onyx is a banded chalcedony, cut here as smooth plain mani beads. It has long been kept as a stone of steadiness — worn to settle the mind before a decision and to hold one's ground without hardening.
Style Tip: Wear with a chanderi suit or a georgette saree — good for Diwali card evenings, griha pravesh and the smaller family celebrations where you want colour without weight.
