Crafted in 925 sterling silver, two rows of lab-grown ruby pear drops cascade in a deep V — the warm red-pink of the rubies warming the silver chain around them, each stone a point of colour in an expanding composition. At the centre of each row sits a single pear-shaped amethyst — cool purple against the warm red, a deliberate break in the rhythm of colour. At the lowest point, a large faceted amethyst teardrop arrives: the full expression of the purple note introduced in the rows above. Anti-tarnish e-coated. A necklace for the woman who wears colour as a point of view, and has never once chosen the obvious.
