The Firoza Chakra
Handcrafted in Jaipur · Est. 1897A turquoise held at the centre of a wheel, with a green drop swinging off its rim. The Firoza Chakra earring is the most mechanical shape in this edit, and the most unexpected.
A flat silver bar falls from the ear to a silver ring crossed by gold arms, an oval turquoise cabochon bezel-set in gold at the hub, with a pear-shaped green onyx hanging from the lower rim. 925 sterling silver, two-tone plating. Anti-tarnish e-coated.
Gemstone Wisdom. Turquoise is the oldest protective stone in the subcontinent, set into tribal silver for as long as silver has been worked here. It is worn for safe passage and for the friendship it is traditionally given to mark.
Style Tip: Wear with denim, khaki or white. The geometry is modern and the stones are old - that tension is the whole piece.
