Handcrafted in Jaipur · Est. 1897Morni Bracelet — the bracelet from the original Morni Haar family in Neeta Boochra's personal collection. The Victorian original was a three-piece set: necklace, earring, and bracelet. The bracelet was designed so the peacock at the throat could be answered by a peacock at the wrist — a symmetry that the Mughal and Rajput courts understood as an essential principle of composition.
The Morni Haar is Neeta Boochra's personal heirloom — a Victorian piece gifted to her by her grandfather-in-law, originally crafted in 22K gold with real faceted diamonds and Basra pearls. This is the faithful recreation of that piece: form preserved exactly, material translated into 925 sterling silver with 22K gold plating, Moissanite Polki and White CZ in place of the diamonds, freshwater pearl in place of Basra. A Neeta Boochra heritage piece.
The Morni Bracelet is crafted in 925 sterling silver with 22K gold plating. Five strands of freshwater pearl form the band; a single peacock motif anchors the centre — its body in pakka meenakari (blue, green, and red), its fan-tail rendered in Moissanite Polki and fine White CZ across a gold scroll-frame. A small baroque pearl drops from the base of the motif. Anti-tarnish e-coated.
Style Tip: The Morni Bracelet is the companion piece to the Morni Haar and the Morni Earring. Worn together, the three pieces carry the complete Victorian composition. Worn individually, the bracelet holds its own as a statement wrist piece — particularly striking against ivory silk or pale gold.
