Handcrafted in Jaipur · Est. 1897Maanik — ruby in the classical Sanskrit and Hindi tradition, the stone most associated with the sun, with vitality, with the particular kind of courage that does not need to announce itself because it is simply present. White Kundan Polki and ruby have been paired in Jaipur's workshops for centuries because they understand each other: the white amplifies the red, the red gives the white something to aspire to.
The Maanik is crafted in 925 sterling silver. Lab-grown red ruby stones sit within white Kundan Polki work; pearl beads complete the composition. The silver ground allows the ruby's red to read at its deepest intensity. Anti-tarnish e-coated.
Gemstone Wisdom. Pearl — the Chandramani — provides emotional steadiness and purity, the calm quality that allows the intensity of the ruby to read as strength rather than aggression.
