Handcrafted in Jaipur · Est. 1897Gulnar — the pomegranate flower, the deep rose-red that the Persian poets chose when they wanted to speak of a colour with longing attached. The Gulnar earring carries that quality at the ear: pink meenakari so saturated it reads almost as velvet.
The Gulnar is a drop earring, crafted in 925 sterling silver with 22K gold plating. A paisley-shaped stud at the top is set with Moissanite Polki and fine White CZ accents; below it hangs a hexagonal drop edged in pink pakka meenakari, framing a large floral arrangement of Moissanite Polki and a central teardrop Moissanite stone. Anti-tarnish e-coated.
Gemstone Wisdom. Moissanite Polki — cut to catch light the way uncut diamond once did — is the modern answer to a setting tradition that has existed in Jaipur for four centuries. The stone carries the visual language of polki with contemporary clarity.
