A turquoise held inside a ring of coiled silver spirals. The Firoza Bhanwar earring is the most classically tribal setting in this edit.
A round turquoise cabochon bezel-set in silver, ringed by applied wire spirals and granules laid alternately around the edge. Hook wire. 925 sterling silver, silver finish. Anti-tarnish e-coated.
Gemstone Wisdom. Turquoise is the oldest protective stone in the subcontinent, set into tribal silver for as long as silver has been worked here. It is worn for safe passage and for the friendship it is traditionally given to mark.
Style Tip: Wear with terracotta, white or indigo. The turquoise is veined rather than uniform, so no two stones match exactly.
