The Ferozi
Handcrafted in Jaipur · Est. 1897Ferozi — the Persian word for turquoise — is both a colour and a stone, both a name and a tradition. It has been at home in Jaipur's jewellery workshops for four centuries, carried along the same trade routes that brought lapis and coral to Rajasthan. The Ferozi wears that history on its face.
The Ferozi is crafted in 925 sterling silver with a two-tone finish. A pair of jawabi peacocks — the mirrored motif of two birds facing one another — sits at the crown of each earring, studded in turquoise and reddish-pink Kundan Polki. Below, a silver chaand disc carries a hand-engraved gold lotus at its centre, each petal lifted by the karigar's chisel rather than cast. Pearl ghungroos fall in a full cascade from the base. Anti-tarnish e-coated.
