Handcrafted in Jaipur · Est. 1897Bhramara — the bumblebee, the one who moves between flowers without preference, drawn entirely by colour and scent. In Vaishnava poetry, the bhramara is a symbol of the devotee: restless until it finds the one thing it was made for, and then completely still. This necklace has that quality — multiple colours in constant conversation, arriving at a composition that is completely itself.
Crafted in 925 sterling silver with a two-tone finish, The Bhramara alternates yellow-orange dholki thread beads, turquoise beads, and silver carved designer beads in a single strand — a composition of warm and cool, rough and polished, matte and reflective. The two-tone silver beads are individually carved, each surface worked by the karigar's hand. No pendant: the necklace is the composition. Finished with anti-tarnish e-coating.
Gemstone Wisdom. Turquoise carries protection and the calm of clear direction. Fluorite — the green fluorite in these melon-cut beads — is associated with mental order and the focus that allows complex thought to become clear action.
