| An oval of deep indigo and black meenakari, ringed with a halo of freshwater pearls, set in 925 sterling silver, gold plated. Below the disc, a gold crescent holds five turquoise triangle stones — each one a fragment of sky. Turquoise has long been worn as a stone of protection and calm, believed to bring clarity to those who carry it. The Neelambar is layered in meaning as it is in craft. |
