Handcrafted in Jaipur · Est. 1897Named for the pomegranate — the deep, jewelled red of garnet. Seven floral chowkis run across the front, each a faceted garnet centre haloed by white Kundan Polki petals. Between them, stepped square link work and small bead clusters give the body its weight.
Oxidised 92.5 sterling silver with antique gold accents on the Kundan settings, anti-tarnish e-coated. Adjustable chain at the back.
Gemstone Wisdom — Garnet. Garnet takes its name from the pomegranate — the seed and the stone share the same dense, lit-from-within red. Worn for centuries across India and the ancient world, the garnet has been associated with vitality, with grounding, with the warm steadying quality of fire that does not rage. Style Tip: The garnet wants a wine-coloured silk, or its inverse — ivory, with red only at the lips and the throat.
